Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Filipe dos Santos made the kick off which started today's match. Evaristo Viana made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Raimundo Carneiro sent off a good shot on target. Raimundo Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Evaristo Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evaristo Viana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filipe dos Santos's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Maristela's Wiliam Leal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Paulo de Amorim in the 16th minute of play. Wiliam Leal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráuzio Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raimundo Carneiro got free with Evaristo Viana in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Dráuzio Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot. São Paulo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dráuzio Pereira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wiliam Leal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Maristela getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Téo Berger hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Ricardinho Costa sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Maristela's Wiliam Leal didn't even have to move. 37 minutes into the game, one of Maristela:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ricardinho Costa placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The São Paulo FC fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when São Paulo FC's Ricardinho Costa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Filipe dos Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raimundo Carneiro got free with Evaristo Viana in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Filipe dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Dráuzio Pereira made the kick off in the second half. When Filipe dos Santos, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 52 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Evaristo Viana was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Raimundo Carneiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evaristo Viana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raimundo Carneiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Evaristo Viana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filipe dos Santos's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. The audience was convinced that Filipe dos Santos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evaristo Viana was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. In the 62nd match minute, São Paulo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardinho Costa to maneuver through the defense. Raimundo Carneiro struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Evaristo Viana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maristela. If Raimundo Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 83rd minute, Raimundo Carneiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raimundo Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Viana having to interfere. After 95 minutes of play, Maristela's Raimundo Carneiro made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
