Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Graeme McRobie started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Phillip McKeochan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Smiddy Celts's Mbadiwe Mpenza got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Smiddy Celts's goalie and right to Takacs Tibor. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Smiddy Celts's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Smiddy Celts's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Jesse McJames reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Hungary fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Hungary's Antal Valentin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jesse McJames showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 30th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antal Valentin in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jesse McJames saved Smiddy Celts from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Graeme Gordon in the 40th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Smiddy Celts's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Takacs Tibor managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The Smiddy Celts players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hungary were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antal Valentin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesse McJames having to interfere. After 59 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Vörös Henrik. 62 minutes into the match, Smiddy Celts's Phillip McKeochan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jesse McJames showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Antal Valentin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jesse McJames quite easily take care of the ball. Jesse McJames had great luck who in the 64thth minute grab hold of the ball when Major Barna from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Jesse McJames tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Smiddy Celts's Tommy Gunn was substituted for Mbadiwe Mpenza. In the 70th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesse McJames saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Smiddy Celts's Jesse McJames played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Takacs Tibor in the 71st minute of play. Jesse McJames made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Takacs Tibor sent off a good shot on target. Graeme Gordon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Graeme Gordon took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The supporters of Hungary booed when Smiddy Celts was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Will Neil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Will Neil hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
