GALATASARAY1905's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Peletier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The referee ignored GALATASARAY1905's protests and gave Burkhard Kahlert a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th minute, Burkhard Kahlert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zafer Akgöze's late challenge caught a France's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
