Aníbal de Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Imperializador. Gabriel Toscano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Toscano in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aníbal de Azevedo saved Mandii AD from getting behind. Victor Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Lucas having to interfere. When Imperializador's Gabriel Toscano in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mandii AD's goalie prevented a goal. Gabriel Toscano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Aníbal de Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Mandii AD defense, Gabriel Toscano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aníbal de Azevedo. The Mandii AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aníbal de Azevedo should have stopped the shot. Mandii AD's Aníbal de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Toscano in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Válter de Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aníbal de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the game, Gabriel Toscano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Aníbal de Azevedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 28thth minute of the game Gabriel Toscano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mandii AD's Aníbal de Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Gabriel Toscano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aníbal de Azevedo. Mandii AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabriel Toscano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Aníbal de Azevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Válter de Amorim went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. If Gabriel Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Fernando Miranda hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Gabriel Toscano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aníbal de Azevedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victor Zanette to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Gabriel Toscano rounded Mandii AD's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5. In the 56thth minute of the game Gabriel Toscano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mandii AD's Aníbal de Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Mandii AD's Victor Zanette got a free kick in the 56th minute. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Gabriel Toscano sped through Mandii AD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aníbal de Azevedo. Imperializador made a substitution. Rodolfo Baptista replaced Laerte Azevedo. After 66 played minutes Mandii AD got a freekick which was hit by Sérgio Maia. In the 67th minute Artur Hermes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aníbal de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Sérgio Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mandii AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Sérgio Maia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michel Lucas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 82 minutes into the match, Gabriel Toscano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aníbal de Azevedo. Imperializador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
