Gugu Tavares came out of the goal and Dawood Mandane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dawood Mandane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gugu Tavares having to interfere. Gugu Tavares made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Martín Fernández sent off a good shot on target. Martín Fernández received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Gugu Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dito Zonta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emílio Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. fαccınεs f.c.'s Gugu Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui do Valle in the 21st minute of play. If Dawood Mandane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gugu Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dawood Mandane in the 31st minute of the match. LEONYS FCBR's Rui do Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Orlando Toscano kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, LEONYS FCBR's goal looked a bit too open when Emílio Tinoco came free, but Dito Zonta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Dawood Mandane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
