Spectators: 6661 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cipriano Garcia took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ademir Saraiva who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Durvalino Teles when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 7th minute by Geovanni Melo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Durvalino Teles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Aílton Penha hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Rifaina AD's Léo Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olívio Recife in the 16th minute of play. Durvalino Teles came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Rifaina AD's Ademir Saraiva. But to his dismay, Ademir Saraiva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Rifaina AD's Luiz Eduardo Nóbrega got a free kick in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olívio Recife in the 37th minute of play forced Rifaina AD's goalkeeper Léo Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Durvalino Teles came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Rifaina AD's Ademir Saraiva. But to his dismay, Ademir Saraiva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodriguinho Bueno to strike the kick off in the second half. Geovanni Melo's late challenge caught a Livramento EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geovanni Melo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th minute, Cássio de Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Durvalino Teles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After 59 minutes, Aílton Penha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Livramento EC and the Rifaina AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Livramento EC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Aílton Penha hit a great ball. Durvalino Teles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Garcia in the 62nd minute of the match. Cássio de Almeida hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Ademir Saraiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Durvalino Teles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ademir Saraiva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Durvalino Teles having to make a save. Olívio Recife could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Léo Sena made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Olívio Recife kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Léo Sena. That made the score 2-1 in the 69 minute of play. In the 76th minute, Cipriano Garcia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rifaina AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Durvalino Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ademir Saraiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rifaina AD's Cipriano Garcia suffered a sore thigh after 82 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of Rifaina AD booed when Livramento EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Vítor Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Rifaina AD's Ademir Saraiva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Durvalino Teles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Geovanni Melo kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Rifaina AD's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rodriguinho Bueno 94 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-2. Rifaina AD's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
