Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wilton de Amaral kicked off to start the match. Otávio Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The attack was good, but when Wilton de Amaral in the 5th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 6th match minute, Urubicy AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Dantas to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the game, Urubicy AD's Davi Pirani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudinho Garcia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Otávio Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Wilton de Amaral fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Affonso's protests and gave Wilton de Amaral a yellow card for diving instead. Wilton de Amaral hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. When Narciso Dantas came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Urubicy AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narciso Dantas couldn't finish the play. Lucas Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 28 in the game by Otávio Matos from a close distance when the talented Cesinha Passos managed to make a qualified save. Urubicy AD's players were relieved. With a little luck, Urubicy AD's Cesinha Passos got control of the ball when Otávio Matos tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Otávio Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Affonso's supporters rose to their feet, but Otávio Matos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesinha Passos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Otávio Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Otávio Matos came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Affonso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otávio Matos couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucas Pires to make the kick off. Affonso's Délio Cordeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Affonso's Otávio Matos in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Urubicy AD's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilton de Amaral in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cesinha Passos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Fernando Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Cesinha Passos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilton de Amaral in the 67th minute of the match. Lucas Pires recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Urubicy AD's Cesinha Passos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilton de Amaral in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th match minute, Urubicy AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Fernando Leão to maneuver through the defense. Cesinha Passos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otávio Matos in the 80th minute of play. After 81 played minutes Urubicy AD got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Fernando Leão. Cesinha Passos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilton de Amaral in the 81st minute of the match. In the 85thth minute of the game Wilton de Amaral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Urubicy AD's Cesinha Passos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cesinha Passos came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Affonso's Otávio Matos. But to his dismay, Otávio Matos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 92nd minute, one of Urubicy AD:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Urubicy AD. In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for Affonso. Zé Pedro Jacinto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cesinha Passos. 3-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Affonso fully deserved thier win.
