Banana EC's Américo Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauan Mangueira in the 17th minute of play. Kauan Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Américo Palmeira having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Itapixuna AD's Jean Baptista nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Américo Palmeira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 37 played minutes Itapixuna AD got a freekick which was hit by Jean Baptista. After 44 played minutes, Itapixuna AD's Conrado Lima shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Américo Palmeira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Itapixuna AD reached it. Vágner Faustino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aírton Gaspar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play.

Róbson Messias's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 51stth minute, Américo Palmeira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Américo Palmeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kauan Mangueira's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Fabrício Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Banana EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabrício Peres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aírton Gaspar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kauan Mangueira struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Américo Palmeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itapixuna AD. Róbson Messias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Banana EC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Itapixuna AD were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
