Spectators: 5005 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 5) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Paulão Vergílio took the kick off in the first half of the match. Paulão Vergílio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Ricardo Pontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Brancos FC booed when Monstros Sagrados FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Pitta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute Rafinha Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luizinho Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Duarte Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Paulão Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Paulão Vergílio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luizinho Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hílton Queirós in the 30th minute of play. Ricardo Pontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulão Vergílio in the 34th minute of the match. Jânio Sampaio might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Pontes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jânio Sampaio ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Brancos FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Duarte Couto hit a great ball. Jânio Sampaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jânio Sampaio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Pontes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. With a little luck, Brancos FC's Ricardo Pontes got control of the ball when Jânio Sampaio tried to sneak it across the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Rafinha Souza made the kick off in the second half. Rafinha Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Luizinho Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the game, Wanderson França cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ricardo Pontes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With 64 minutes on the clock, João Augusto Passos commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of Monstros Sagrados FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Brancos FC:s goal. Eusébio Carneiro walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 69th minute of the match Eusébio Carneiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luizinho Magalhães skillfully saved the ball. Hílton Queirós succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 70th playminute. Jânio Sampaio scored 2-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Pontes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wanderson França recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luizinho Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafinha Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luizinho Magalhães didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hílton Queirós went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 91 minutes into the match, Brancos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jânio Sampaio came free, but Ricardo Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duarte Couto hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Wanderson França sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
