Rodriguinho Cearense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Agenor Zilles made a huge save. Fellipe Coutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Dionísio having to interfere. Caio de Carvalho took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Dionísio. Bruno Dionísio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Caio de Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grêmio FA's supporters rose to their feet, but Caio de Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Dionísio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Hipsters FC's zone, Waldemar Ribeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Dionísio came out of the goal and Waldemar Ribeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th minute, Caio de Carvalho made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Dionísio. Hipsters FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Giuseppe Furlan hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute Caio de Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Dionísio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caio de Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Bruno Dionísio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caio de Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Dionísio having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Caio de Carvalho made a kick off. Caio de Carvalho in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bruno Dionísio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 53rd minute, Caio de Carvalho made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Dionísio. Hipsters FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Caio de Carvalho took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Dionísio. Bruno Dionísio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Bruno Dionísio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Caio de Carvalho in the 60th minute. Caio de Carvalho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Bruno Dionísio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Caio de Carvalho in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bruno Dionísio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 81 minutes into the match, Hipsters FC's goalkeeper Bruno Dionísio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caio de Carvalho. After having played for 83 minutes, Giuseppe Furlan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hipsters FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giuseppe Furlan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hipsters FC's goalkeeper Bruno Dionísio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Caio de Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Grêmio FA's Caio de Carvalho got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cristian Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Hipsters FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Grêmio FA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
