José Paulo Paraense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adrianinho Queirós read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Ilerneiras EC's José Paulo Paraense sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adrianinho Queirós narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Kuririn F.C getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Bernardinho Marquez hit a great ball. In the 15thth minute of the game André Luís Macedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kuririn F.C's Adrianinho Queirós was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adrianinho Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Luís Macedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kuririn F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! Adrianinho Queirós went to the wrong direction when Andrézinho Medeiros was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Adrianinho Queirós made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Paulo Paraense in the 25th minute. Jonas Garcia hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. When Jonas Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Kuririn F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Garcia couldn't finish the play. Bernardinho Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Valladares having to interfere. Kuririn F.C's Bernardinho Marquez managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ronaldo Tróia in the 47 minute of the game.

In the 54thth minute of the game Jonas Garcia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ilerneiras EC's Adriano Valladares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Ilerneiras EC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Dalmo de Almeida hit a great ball. Jonas Garcia in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Adriano Valladares, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jonas Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonas Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, José Paulo Paraense left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ilerneiras EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Jonas Garcia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adriano Valladares having to make a save. In the 71st minute José Paulo Paraense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrianinho Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Garcia might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adriano Valladares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonas Garcia ran back to his position shaking his head. Adrianinho Queirós stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of André Luís Macedo's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Adrianinho Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luís Macedo in the 87th minute of play.
