C's goal looked a bit too open when Murillo Paiva came free, but Caetano Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deivid Goiano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diamantino Andrade's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Gravatahy's goalkeeper Deivid Goiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hortêncio do Vale. A collision led to Irai F. C getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Hortêncio do Vale hit a great ball. Irai F. C's Caetano Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murillo Paiva in the 30th minute of play. Caetano Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juarês Montenegro in the 37th minute of the match. A collision led to Irai F. C getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Joélson Leal hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Valdir Paulista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caetano Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juarês Montenegro in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diamantino Andrade stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Durvalino Pereira struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. In the 68thth minute of the game Diamantino Andrade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gravatahy's Deivid Goiano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diamantino Andrade in the 69th managed to get into a good position.
