Toboco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lúcio Faria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The wind increased when André Paraibano made the kick off in the second half. Toboco FC's Glauco Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomé Nogueira in the 52nd minute of play. Glauco Leme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of André Paraibano's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. A collision led to Toboco FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Acácio Peres hit a great ball. Frédson Pena took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Glauco Leme. Toboco FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Toboco FC booed when Club Atlético de Madrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cláudio Koehler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Waldir de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Vides in the 66th minute of play. If Sebastians Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the match, Toboco FC's goal looked a bit too open when André Paraibano came free, but Glauco Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Paraibano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Glauco Leme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Paraibano took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Glauco Leme. Glauco Leme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lúcio Faria got free with Waldir de Mendonça in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. André Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sebastians Abreu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute, Sebastians Abreu made a precise shot to the right of Glauco Leme. Toboco FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Club Atlético de Madrid fully deserved thier win.
