An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilian Paraense in the 6th minute of play forced Eritreia EC's goalkeeper Amadeu de Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oséias Cordeiro got free with Luiz Guilherme Fantini in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 21st minute, Oséias Cordeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Douradao getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Wellington de Azevedo hit a great ball. Luiz Guilherme Fantini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oséias Cordeiro went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Wilian Paraense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu de Castro having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Eritreia EC's Victor Batista got a free kick in the 42nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilian Paraense in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeu de Castro saved Eritreia EC from getting behind.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilian Paraense made a kick off. With a little luck, Eritreia EC's Amadeu de Castro got control of the ball when Leopoldo Gaúcho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wilian Paraense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu de Castro having to interfere. Luiz Guilherme Fantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eurico Pontes in the 56th minute of play. Leopoldo Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu de Castro having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Eurico Pontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eritreia EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eurico Pontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Guilherme Fantini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 64 played minutes, Eritreia EC's Pedro Luiz Valadares shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luiz Guilherme Fantini came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Eritreia EC reached it. Jardel Arósio hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute Eurico Pontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Guilherme Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eurico Pontes in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Guilherme Fantini saved Douradao from getting behind. The supporters of Douradao booed when Eritreia EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute of the match, Wilian Paraense tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Amadeu de Castro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jardel Arósio struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Amadeu de Castro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Douradao. Leopoldo Gaúcho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Amadeu de Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Wilian Paraense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Eritreia EC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
