Amadeu de Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfredo Brodel in the 92nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Coelhos Malukos's zone, Eurico Pontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dênis Sá came out of the goal and Eurico Pontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reynaldo Quadros's late challenge caught a Eritreia EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reynaldo Quadros helped the player get up and apologised. Reynaldo Quadros kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Eritreia EC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Coelhos Malukos were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
