In the 4th minute, Neo Walker Clube's Luizinho Hoffmann dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 9 minutes into the game, Magno Chaves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Adriano Miranda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Walmyr Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, Grilos's goal looked a bit too open when Luizinho Hoffmann came free, but Cléber da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Grilos's Cléber da Costa got control of the ball when Walmyr Martins tried to sneak it across the goal line. Magno Chaves struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Adriano Miranda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grilos. Pedro Donato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Magno Chaves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adriano Miranda was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Magno Chaves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adriano Miranda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Grilos's Pedro Donato got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Neo Walker Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Magno Chaves came free, but Adriano Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Donato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Miranda having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Jaime Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Luizinho Hoffmann made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gernando Trigo during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Neo Walker Clube getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Gernando Trigo hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Neo Walker Clube's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Pedro Donato fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Adriano Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magno Chaves, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Magno Chaves in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adriano Miranda saved Neo Walker Clube from getting behind. 61 minutes into the game, Grilos's Pedro Donato nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adriano Miranda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Adriano Miranda was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Magno Chaves capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Magno Chaves really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Walmyr Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jaime Couto hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Walmyr Martins made a precise shot to the right of Cléber da Costa. Grilos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. In the 81st minute Magno Chaves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Neo Walker Clube's goalkeeper Adriano Miranda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Donato. 93 minutes into the match, Neo Walker Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Magno Chaves came free, but Adriano Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Grilos's goal looked a bit too open when Luizinho Hoffmann came free, but Cléber da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Walmyr Martins had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cléber da Costa. Grilos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walmyr Martins was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. The Neo Walker Clube supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Grilos's performance. The match ended with a win for Grilos.
