With an all-out effort, Andrade's Cauã Paulista threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Conrado Souto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 13 minutes into the match, Andrade's goal looked a bit too open when Rony Abraão came free, but Luan Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16thth minute of the game Rony Abraão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Andrade's Luan Tasso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Benê Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 51 played minutes New Hell F.C got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Xavier. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernani Lara during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
