Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. José Vítor Antunes started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes Cidade Alta FC got a freekick which was hit by Edvaldo Bertassi. After 5 minutes of play, Brava's Durvalino Fernandes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nestor Paraíba was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 14th match minute, Cidade Alta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvaldo Bertassi to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Alfredão Amorim sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cidade Alta FC's Nestor Paraíba didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Durvalino Fernandes in the 21st minute of play forced Cidade Alta FC's goalkeeper Nestor Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jarbas Pena in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nestor Paraíba saved Cidade Alta FC from getting behind. Jarbas Pena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Nestor Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jano Eger might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cipriano Britto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jano Eger ran back to his position shaking his head. 36 minutes into the game, Brava's Jarbas Pena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nestor Paraíba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Cidade Alta FC's zone, Jarbas Pena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Paraíba came out of the goal and Jarbas Pena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute Durvalino Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rdth minute of the game Jarbas Pena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cidade Alta FC's Nestor Paraíba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cidade Alta FC's Nestor Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarbas Pena in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Nestor Paraíba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarbas Pena in the 52nd minute of the match. After 53 minutes, Hélio Torres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cidade Alta FC and the Brava players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Cidade Alta FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Hélio Torres hit a great ball. José Vítor Antunes struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Cipriano Britto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cidade Alta FC. Jarbas Pena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jano Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Britto having to interfere. Nildo Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Durvalino Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Brava's Jarbas Pena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nestor Paraíba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Jano Eger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cidade Alta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jano Eger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cipriano Britto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 89 minutes, Jarbas Pena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brava's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jarbas Pena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cipriano Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Vítor Antunes in the 92nd minute of the match. Eusébio Barbosa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cipriano Britto. Brava's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Brava getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Henrique da Mata hit a great ball. The Brava players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
