The referee ignored Oto Patamá's protests and gave Zé Carlos Sampaio a yellow card for diving instead. Zé Carlos Sampaio hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. If Evaristo Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodolfo de Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Zé Paulo Pontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo de Lima in the 16th minute of play forced Oto Patamá's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. EMT FC's Evaristo Vander got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodolfo de Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Zé Paulo Pontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evaristo Vander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Paulo Pontes having to interfere. Zé Paulo Pontes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodolfo de Lima went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodolfo de Lima to make the kick off. Evaristo Vander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Paulo Pontes having to interfere. Zé Carlos Sampaio hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Oto Patamá's zone, Evaristo Vander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Paulo Pontes came out of the goal and Evaristo Vander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Oto Patamá's Zé Carlos Sampaio got a free kick in the 66th minute. Zé Paulo Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo de Lima in the 67th minute of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Rodolfo de Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EMT FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo de Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The EMT FC fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when EMT FC's Evaristo Vander looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rodolfo de Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, Raí Meira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristiano Vander missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 80 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Ulisses Nóbrega right hand side. In the 82nd minute, Evaristo Vander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo de Lima in the 83rd minute of play forced Oto Patamá's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Paulo Pontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo de Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evaristo Vander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Zé Paulo Pontes made a huge save. In the 92nd minute, Rodolfo de Lima reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zé Paulo Pontes. The goal made the score 0-6. In the 95th minute, Cafu Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded EMT FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Oto Patamá.
