After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, José Vítor de Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot. ♕ ℒՄℙℰℝℰ F.C ♛'s supporters rose to their feet, but José Vítor de Queiroz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmo Linhares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manoel Galvão hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Manoel Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Neves having to interfere. Dalmo Linhares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aílton Moreno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute Aílton Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Linhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, José Vítor de Queiroz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dalmo Linhares, 2-0. Matías Mineiro hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Sauva AD's Dalmo Linhares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Sauva AD from getting a goal against them. The supporters of ♕ ℒՄℙℰℝℰ F.C ♛ booed when Sauva AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matías Mineiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Sauva AD's goalkeeper Dalmo Linhares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rui Rossi. After a rather tough play, Sauva AD's Betão Mesquita got a free kick in the 46th minute. ♕ ℒՄℙℰℝℰ F.C ♛'s attack was well implemented in the 47th minute, but when Rui Rossi was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rui Rossi to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Juninho Vidal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sauva AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ♕ ℒՄℙℰℝℰ F.C ♛ the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of Sauva AD:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ♕ ℒՄℙℰℝℰ F.C ♛:s goal. José Vítor de Queiroz took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dalmo Linhares. Dalmo Linhares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Dalmo Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aílton Moreno in the 63rd minute of play. Dalmo Linhares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rui Rossi went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 69th minute, Henrique Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Rui Rossi sped through Sauva AD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dalmo Linhares. ♕ ℒՄℙℰℝℰ F.C ♛'s José Vítor de Queiroz got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. José Vítor de Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rui Rossi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 79 played minutes ♕ ℒՄℙℰℝℰ F.C ♛ got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Donato. Sauva AD's Dalmo Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Correia in the 82nd minute of play. Dalmo Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Vítor de Queiroz in the 85th minute of the match. Dalmo Linhares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Pedro Ramalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. José Vítor de Queiroz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dalmo Linhares having to make a save. Dalmo Linhares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rui Rossi's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. José Vítor de Queiroz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dalmo Linhares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. There was no doubt that ♕ ℒՄℙℰℝℰ F.C ♛ were the better team. ♕ ℒՄℙℰℝℰ F.C ♛'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
