Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Guaporé's Benê Pombal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fernandinho Pombal made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Aírton de Amorim sent off a good shot on target. Cafu Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natanael Andrade in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Luiz Rezende made a precise shot to the right of Fernandinho Pombal. Guaporé's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Natanael Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Benê Pombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cafu Netto having to interfere. After 25 minutes, Enio Soeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paulada Futebol Clube and the Guaporé players grew even worse after the yellow card. 25 minutes into the game, one of Paulada Futebol Clube:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Benê Pombal placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! 28 minutes into the match, Guaporé's goalkeeper Fernandinho Pombal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aírton de Amorim. Fernandinho Pombal made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Aírton de Amorim sent off a good shot on target. After 33rd play minutes Aírton de Amorim shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Fernandinho Pombal and just under the crossbar into goal. During the 36th minute of the match Enio Soeiro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Enio Soeiro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Cafu Netto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natanael Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 40 played minutes Guaporé got a freekick which was hit by Juan Mota. Fernandinho Pombal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aírton de Amorim in the 43rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Paulada Futebol Clube's zone, Benê Pombal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cafu Netto came out of the goal and Benê Pombal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aírton de Amorim made a kick off. Fernandinho Pombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aírton de Amorim in the 54th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Frederico Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aírton de Amorim in the 62nd minute of play forced Guaporé's goalkeeper Fernandinho Pombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aírton de Amorim in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernandinho Pombal saved Guaporé from getting behind. Fernandinho Pombal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aírton de Amorim's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Aírton de Amorim might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernandinho Pombal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aírton de Amorim ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 68 minutes, Aírton de Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paulada Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aírton de Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aírton de Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Aírton de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Noel Medeiros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernandinho Pombal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Guaporé's Fernandinho Pombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aírton de Amorim in the 80th minute of play. Fernandinho Pombal came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Paulada Futebol Clube's Aírton de Amorim. But to his dismay, Aírton de Amorim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Cafu Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benê Pombal in the 95th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Paulada Futebol Clube players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
