A collision led to Sapucai EC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Luisão Hoffmann hit a great ball. After 32 played minutes Sapucai EC got a freekick which was hit by Luisão Hoffmann. Mário Albuquerque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilton Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Tarcisio Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Francisco Marinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Sapucai EC booed when Rodeiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Fábio Brito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Mário Albuquerque made a huge save. Mário Albuquerque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilton Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Mário Albuquerque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalberto Coutinho in the 97th minute of the match. Mário Albuquerque made a fantastic save in the 99th minute, when Luiz Fábio Brito sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rodeiro had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
