If Rafael Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 23 minutes, Geovânio Linares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tigre Brasilis F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Geovânio Linares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Paulista's goal looked a bit too open when Geovânio Linares came free, but Alessandro Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armandinho Botelho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alessandro Romero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Geovânio Linares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Alessandro Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Geovânio Linares came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Tigre Brasilis F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geovânio Linares couldn't finish the play. After having played for 35 minutes, Geovânio Linares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tigre Brasilis F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Geovânio Linares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Armandinho Botelho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alessandro Romero was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Bebeto Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. If Geovânio Linares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armandinho Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro Romero having to interfere.
