Spectators: 7217 (Terracing: 5414, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Renato Tasso in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisco Gomes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 17 minutes into the game, Terras SS's Paulo Renato Tasso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francisco Gomes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 19 minutes into the match, Eduardo Rosa notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Urandi AD's Francisco Gomes. Francisco Gomes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paulo Renato Tasso took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francisco Gomes. Francisco Gomes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Renato Tasso in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisco Gomes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Eduardo Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. In the 44th minute Eduardo Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Gomes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Renato Tasso in the 45th minute of play forced Urandi AD's goalkeeper Francisco Gomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urandi AD's Francisco Gomes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Renato Tasso in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgar do Nascimento was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Renato Tasso in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Gomes saved Urandi AD from getting behind. In the 54th minute of the match Vânderson de Senna sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Francisco Gomes skillfully saved the ball. In the 58th minute Luís Paulo Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Paulo Renato Tasso fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Urandi AD's zone, Paulo Renato Tasso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Gomes came out of the goal and Paulo Renato Tasso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 68 minutes into the match, Urandi AD's goalkeeper Francisco Gomes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduardo Rosa. In the 69th match minute, Urandi AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar do Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. Eduardo Rosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisco Gomes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play.
