Frederico Salgado started the match with the kick off. João Custódio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frederico Salgado's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. After 11 played minutes Galáticos F.C got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Schmidt. Nilton Queiroz hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Frederico Salgado put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of João Custódio. After having played for 26 minutes, Marcel Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galáticos F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcel Schmidt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 34 played minutes Galáticos F.C got a freekick which was hit by Erik Nunes. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frederico Salgado in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Custódio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Magno de Godoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Custódio having to interfere. Galáticos F.C's João Custódio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederico Salgado in the 45th minute of play. Geovani Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Frederico Salgado in the 48th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The Galáticos F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Policratas F.C were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nilton Queiroz to make the kick off. The supporters of Policratas F.C booed when Galáticos F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovani Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmílson Amorim in the 57th minute of play forced Galáticos F.C's goalkeeper João Custódio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jardel Saraiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. João Custódio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frederico Salgado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of João Custódio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jardel Saraiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Custódio having to interfere. Frederico Salgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. João Custódio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frederico Salgado's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, João Custódio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Policratas F.C's Jardel Saraiva managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Serginho Pinho in the 78 minute of the game. After 79 minutes, Gil das Neves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galáticos F.C and the Policratas F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Galáticos F.C's Gil das Neves got a free kick in the 80th minute. Frederico Salgado in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of João Custódio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With his leg João Custódio managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Policratas F.C's Frederico Salgado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 85 minutes into the game, Marcel Schmidt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galáticos F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Policratas F.C the free kick. After 86 played minutes Galáticos F.C got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Schmidt. 88 minutes into the match, Galáticos F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Geovanni Leme came free, but João Custódio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Aílton Prado took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for João Custódio to make any attempt to save it. Geovanni Leme was extremely unlucky when he, in the 94th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jardel Saraiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Custódio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jardel Saraiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
