The referee ignored Hawaii FC's protests and gave Genílson Rezende a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 17 minutes, Amadeu Camargo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gomaticum AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amadeu Camargo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vito Abraão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Salgado having to interfere. Augusto Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tostão Cardoso having to interfere. 2-1 became the score in the 29th minute when Augusto Maia elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Amadeu Camargo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Teodoro Salgado skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Amadeu Camargo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teodoro Salgado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Durval Quirino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tostão Cardoso having to make a save. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Teodoro Salgado successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vito Abraão in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teodoro Salgado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Vito Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augusto Maia in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tostão Cardoso saved Gomaticum AD from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vito Abraão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Wilian Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vito Abraão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Salgado having to interfere. Durval Quirino took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tostão Cardoso. Tostão Cardoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Tostão Cardoso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Augusto Maia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 67 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Augusto Maia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tostão Cardoso. That made the score 2-4 in the 71 minute of play. In the 75th minute, Hawaii FC's Augusto Maia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. Amadeu Camargo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teodoro Salgado having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amadeu Camargo in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teodoro Salgado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gomaticum AD's goalkeeper Tostão Cardoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Andrézinho Urbano hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Amadeu Camargo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gomaticum AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeu Camargo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodoro Salgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Gomaticum AD supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hawaii FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Hawaii FC.
