Ser-Itaqui's Felipe Perez was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Teodoro Salgado in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Fabinho de Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Teodoro Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 69 played minutes Hawaii FC got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Ceresso. Carlos Fernando de Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Durval Quirino in the 95th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
