Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fabinho de Salles got the match started through his kick off. An unexpected shot in the 3rd minute by Amadeu Camargo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Amadeu Camargos short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Carlos Fernando de Amorim to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Vito Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25thth minute of the game Vito Abraão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ser-Itaqui's Carlos Fernando de Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vito Abraão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Carlos Fernando de Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Ser-Itaqui's Carlos Fernando de Amorim got control of the ball when Amadeu Camargo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Fabinho de Salles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Tostão Cardoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Ser-Itaqui's zone, Amadeu Camargo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Fernando de Amorim came out of the goal and Amadeu Camargo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vito Abraão to make the kick off. Vito Abraão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Carlos Fernando de Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gomaticum AD's Andrézinho Urbano got a free kick in the 59th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Gomaticum AD's goalkeeper Tostão Cardoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enio Correia. Vito Abraão blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Fernando de Amorim having to make a save. A collision led to Ser-Itaqui getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Claudinei de Senna hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Gomaticum AD's Mané Gaspar tried to score from far away in the 78th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 80 played minutes Gomaticum AD got a freekick which was hit by Andrézinho Urbano. In the 84th minute of the match, Fabinho de Salles tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tostão Cardoso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Enio Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Fernando de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeu Camargo in the 91st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amadeu Camargo in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Fernando de Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Fernando de Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vito Abraão went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score.
