Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Douglas Rosado took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Valaraukar F. C.'s Waldemar Monteiro got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Nildo Baiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 温崇思 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armandinho Montenegro in the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute Silvinho Dantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 温崇思 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Valaraukar F. C.! The goalkeeper, 温崇思, was totally fooled by Celestes FC's Nildo Baiano, who 11 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 温崇思 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armandinho Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. When Armandinho Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Celestes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armandinho Montenegro couldn't finish the play. Serafim Couto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. C.'s 温崇思 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Valaraukar F. C. from getting a goal against them. 30 minutes into the match, Celestes FC's Armandinho Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 温崇思 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Valaraukar F. C. getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Douglas Rosado hit a great ball. After having played for 32 minutes, Douglas Rosado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valaraukar F. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Douglas Rosado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Celestes FC's Armandinho Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Celestes FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
