Spectators: 7297 (Terracing: 5474, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 145) An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Froila in the 3rd minute of play forced Bahiacelona FC's goalkeeper Zé Pedro Camargo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 4 minutes Bahiacelona FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Duda Hermes who took care of the corner kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Humberto Froila got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-0. 5 minutes into the match. Luiz Fabiano Ferraz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 10 minutes in the game, Luiz Fabiano Ferraz fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Zé Pedro Camargo having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Mário do Valle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bahiacelona FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Luiz Fabiano Ferraz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Zé Pedro Camargo made a huge save. Zé Pedro Camargo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duda Hermes in the 22nd minute of the match. Duda Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Pedro Camargo having to interfere. After 26 minutes, Mauro da Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bahiacelona FC and the Boca da Mata players grew even worse after the yellow card. Duda Hermes struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Zé Pedro Camargo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boca da Mata. In the 32nd minute Duda Hermes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Pedro Camargo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauro da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihnea Badea having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Mário do Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bahiacelona FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mário do Valle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mihnea Badea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 55th minute, Duda Hermes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Pedro Camargo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Zé Pedro Camargo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fabiano Ferraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Bahiacelona FC's zone, Duda Hermes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Pedro Camargo came out of the goal and Duda Hermes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Bahiacelona FC defense, Luiz Fabiano Ferraz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zé Pedro Camargo. The Bahiacelona FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zé Pedro Camargo should have stopped the shot. 66 minutes into the game, one of Bahiacelona FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Zé Pedro Camargo went to the wrong direction when Duda Hermes was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Zé Pedro Camargo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Froila in the 69th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Duda Hermes in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Pedro Camargo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luiz Fabiano Ferraz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zé Pedro Camargo having to make a save. If Duda Hermes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boca da Mata's Duda Hermes got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodrigo Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Boca da Mata had played much better football throughout.
