André Luís de Amorim made in the 9th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Alonzo Boni however managed to control. Gladiadores Futebol Clube's Alonzo Boni got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th match minute, Gladiadores Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Dolcet to maneuver through the defense. Vinícius Brodel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilton Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Alonzo Boni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinícius Brodel having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Leque FC's Valdo Vidal got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leque FC's goalkeeper Vinícius Brodel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gladiadores Futebol Clube's Adan Dolcet got his second yellow card of the match in the 18th minute. The referee ordered Adan Dolcet off the ground. After 19 played minutes Gladiadores Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Adan Dolcet. After a rather tough play, Leque FC's Nelsinho Soeiro got a free kick in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Márcio Furtado in the 24th minute of play forced Gladiadores Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Cauã Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdo Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauã Amaral having to interfere. With a little luck, Gladiadores Futebol Clube's Cauã Amaral got control of the ball when Márcio Furtado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cauã Amaral came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Leque FC's Márcio Furtado. But to his dismay, Márcio Furtado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 46th match minute, Gladiadores Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Boni to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Márcio Furtado made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Márcio Furtado made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Gladiadores Futebol Clube's Cauã Amaral tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Leque FC booed when Gladiadores Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Will Doughty didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valdo Vidal was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 55th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Gladiadores Futebol Clube's Cauã Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Márcio Furtado in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to Gladiadores Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Iuri Tande hit a great ball. Valdo Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauã Amaral having to interfere. Gladiadores Futebol Clube's Carlinhos Paes was substituted for Hílton Montenegro. In the 77th minute, Will Doughty hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Márcio Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leque FC's Vinícius Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilton Santana in the 92nd minute of play. If Márcio Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Márcio Furtado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leque FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Márcio Furtado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cauã Amaral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leque FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
