After a rather tough play, Joluikos's Silvinho Vidal got a free kick in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Joluikos's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Lucas came free, but Marquinhos Campidelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matheus Moraes charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matheus Moraes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Matheus Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Denílson de Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denílson de Queirós in the 45th minute of play forced Diogo AD's goalkeeper Tiago Gaúcho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Denílson de Queirós made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reynaldo Lucas in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marquinhos Campidelis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Reynaldo Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marquinhos Campidelis having to interfere. In the 65th minute of the game Matheus Moraes made a throw-in which Waldemar Pombal played forward. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Joluikos's goalkeeper Marquinhos Campidelis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 67th minute Reynaldo Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marquinhos Campidelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute Waldemar Pombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marquinhos Campidelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diogo AD were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Joluikos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tiaguinho Albuquerque took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Tiaguinho Albuquerque got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marquinhos Campidelis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 80 minutes into the game, Matheus Moraes threw the ball into play from the sideline. Joluikos's Mane Onis quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 92nd match minute, Diogo AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato dos Santos to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Denílson de Queirós took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Tiago Gaúcho to make any attempt to save it.
