Pedro Paulo Velloso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Manoel Paraibano. AC Poker's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Agenor Mendes came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the AC Poker fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agenor Mendes couldn't finish the play. The supporters of AC Poker booed when Ibacatu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Jacinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manoel Paraibano came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Ibacatu's Andrézinho Brodel. But to his dismay, Andrézinho Brodel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 29th match minute, AC Poker was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dário Alvarenga to maneuver through the defense. Haroldo Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Teodoro Prestes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. William Lopes held his arms out in dispair when he, after a nice solo performance in the 46th minute, finished the attack by shooting the ball on the wrong side of the right post.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andrézinho Brodel was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Ibacatu's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Ramos came free, but Teodoro Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrézinho Brodel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manoel Paraibano having to interfere. Gino Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manoel Paraibano having to interfere. 64 minutes into the game, Agenor Mendes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Poker's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ibacatu the free kick. A collision led to AC Poker getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Augusto Campidelis during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for AC Poker! AC Poker:s Manoel Paraibano showed great skill when he stopped Pedro Paulo Velloso:s penalty. The AC Poker fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when AC Poker's Jaime de Lara looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Andrézinho Brodel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Manoel Paraibano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manoel Paraibano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrézinho Brodel in the 88th minute of the match. Andrézinho Brodel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Ibacatu's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
