Spectators: 6652 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 0) 2 minutes into the match, Anselmo Ramalho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antônio Correia. Eremetu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anselmo Ramalho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Germano Pernambucano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Darcilena's supporters rose to their feet, but Germano Pernambucano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antônio Correia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Germano Pernambucano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Toninho Coutinho fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eremetu's protests and gave Toninho Coutinho a yellow card for diving instead. Germano Pernambucano might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antônio Correia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Germano Pernambucano ran back to his position shaking his head. If Anselmo Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Eremetu getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Chiquinho Jacinto hit a great ball. Anselmo Ramalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Anselmo Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Eremetu's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Ramalho came free, but Antônio Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Germano Pernambucano in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antônio Correia saved Eremetu from getting behind. In the 36th match minute, Darcilena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei de Lara to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Eremetu's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Ramalho came free, but Antônio Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anselmo Ramalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 47th minute Germano Pernambucano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Germano Pernambucano made a kick off. Antônio Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Germano Pernambucano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Anselmo Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anselmo Ramalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antônio Correia came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Darcilena's Germano Pernambucano. But to his dismay, Germano Pernambucano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Fernão Proença showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chiquinho Jacinto in the 71st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Germano Pernambucano in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antônio Correia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 75th minute, Anselmo Ramalho fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Antônio Correia, passed just outside the right post. Anselmo Ramalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Antônio Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antônio Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Ramalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Anselmo Ramalho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antônio Correia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84thth minute of the game Germano Pernambucano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eremetu's Antônio Correia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 88th minute Anselmo Ramalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Anselmo Ramalho came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Darcilena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Ramalho couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Eremetu's Chiquinho Jacinto got a free kick in the 95th minute.
