After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Geovanni Bastos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cabore's supporters rose to their feet, but Geovanni Bastos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natã Vasconcelos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Cabore's Gláuber Figueiredo got a free kick in the 16th minute. Anderson Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Trinidade's Perivaldo Damião got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cabore's Raimundo Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulisses Cardoso in the 21st minute of play. Perivaldo Damião's late challenge caught a Cabore's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Perivaldo Damião helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, Perivaldo Damião hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Júlio de Barros in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Natã Vasconcelos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Perivaldo Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 59 minutes of play, Trinidade's Ulisses Cardoso made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raimundo Braga was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio de Barros in the 63rd minute of play forced Trinidade's goalkeeper Natã Vasconcelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ulisses Cardoso came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Trinidade fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulisses Cardoso couldn't finish the play. Raimundo Braga made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Ulisses Cardoso sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Cabore's Deivid Linares got a free kick in the 71st minute. Doriva Almeida was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 72nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Natã Vasconcelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Júlio de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natã Vasconcelos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ediberto Gomes fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trinidade's protests and gave Ediberto Gomes a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Trinidade's Ediberto Gomes got a free kick in the 81st minute.
