Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nildo Cunha started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Cubati booed when INAZUMA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elder Guedes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the game, Elder Guedes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Luiz Paulo Ferreira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Elder Guedes managed to get in a good position for a shot. INAZUMA's supporters rose to their feet, but Elder Guedes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Paulo Ferreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15thth minute of the game Nildo Cunha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but INAZUMA's Yuri Silveira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. INAZUMA's Yuri Silveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save INAZUMA from getting a goal against them. Pedrão de Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Paulo Ferreira having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Cubati's Paulinho Peres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yuri Silveira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 32 minutes into the match, INAZUMA's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Severo came free, but Yuri Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulinho Peres shot from long distance after 39 played minutes, a shot that Yuri Silveira with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Nildo Cunha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yuri Silveira was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Yuri Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nildo Cunha in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half INAZUMA were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elder Guedes was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to INAZUMA getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Pedrão de Brito hit a great ball. Pedrão de Brito charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedrão de Brito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Yuri Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Pedro Pena, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Nildo Cunha took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yuri Silveira. Yuri Silveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Yuri Silveira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nildo Cunha's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. If Arnaldo Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, INAZUMA's Aílton Abreu got a free kick in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the match, João Pedro Pena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yuri Silveira. INAZUMA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Pedro Pena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. After 77 minutes of play, Cubati's João Pedro Pena made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yuri Silveira was left in no man's land by his defense there! 83 minutes into the match, INAZUMA's goal looked a bit too open when Nildo Cunha came free, but Yuri Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Cubati's goalkeeper Luiz Paulo Ferreira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedrão de Brito. After some careless play in the INAZUMA defense, João Pedro Pena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yuri Silveira. The INAZUMA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yuri Silveira should have stopped the shot. In the 90th minute, Olívio Peixoto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aílton Abreu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Luiz Paulo Ferreira firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 96th minute, Nildo Cunha made a precise shot to the right of Yuri Silveira. INAZUMA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. When the referee ended the match the Cubati players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
