The supporters of INAZUMA booed when Bonanca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, INAZUMA's Gernando Albuquerque tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Elder Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovani Leme having to interfere. Geovani Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elder Guedes in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute Elder Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovani Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th match minute, Bonanca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulinho Recife to maneuver through the defense. Edu Bittencourt charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edu Bittencourt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Geovani Leme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elder Guedes, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. INAZUMA's Elder Guedes got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Bonanca's Jaime Nunes got a free kick in the 41st minute. INAZUMA's Elder Guedes got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th minute, INAZUMA's Olívio Peixoto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Geovani Leme. Geovani Leme yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1.

The wind increased when Elder Guedes made the kick off in the second half. If Alfredão Pitta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd match minute, INAZUMA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olívio Peixoto to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Hélder Bastos from long distance, 63 minutes into the match, got Yuri Silveira's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Elder Guedes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedrão de Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Geovani Leme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaime Nunes hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the game, INAZUMA's Pedrão de Brito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geovani Leme made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 94 minutes into the match, Alfredão Pitta notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of INAZUMA's Yuri Silveira. Yuri Silveira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. INAZUMA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
