In the 3rd minute, César Mello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victoriano Ladio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Erik Breckenfeld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 12 minutes of play, BELO PASSE FC's Lucjan Lewicki made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erik Breckenfeld was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of BELO PASSE FC booed when MERCOPLASA F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurício Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, João Augusto Brito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BELO PASSE FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 25 minutes into the match, BELO PASSE FC's Victoriano Ladio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erik Breckenfeld narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nilson Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Erik Breckenfeld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rdth minute of the game Sérgio Saldanha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BELO PASSE FC's Luiz de Lara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. BELO PASSE FC's Luiz de Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sérgio Saldanha in the 36th minute of play. Victoriano Ladio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Breckenfeld having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd match minute, MERCOPLASA F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gernando Marinho to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoriano Ladio in the 61st minute of play forced MERCOPLASA F.C's goalkeeper Erik Breckenfeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erik Breckenfeld showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victoriano Ladio, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Erik Breckenfeld took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Ladio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Gernando Marinho fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MERCOPLASA F.C's protests and gave Gernando Marinho a yellow card for diving instead. After 72 played minutes MERCOPLASA F.C got a freekick which was hit by Gernando Marinho. Erik Breckenfeld showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victoriano Ladio, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After having played for 75 minutes, Victoriano Ladio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BELO PASSE FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victoriano Ladio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sérgio Saldanha hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victoriano Ladio in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erik Breckenfeld saved MERCOPLASA F.C from getting behind. When Lucjan Lewicki came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the BELO PASSE FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucjan Lewicki couldn't finish the play. Erik Breckenfeld showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victoriano Ladio in the 83rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victoriano Ladio in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erik Breckenfeld prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 88th minute, Lucjan Lewicki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victoriano Ladio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erik Breckenfeld took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victoriano Ladio in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erik Breckenfeld prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 94 minutes into the game, Victoriano Ladio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Erik Breckenfeld was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the BELO PASSE FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
