Caio Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomé Pombal having to interfere. Caio Linhares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Tomé Pombal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Escudo da Fé's Caio Linhares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomé Pombal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Reynaldo Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. Escudo da Fé's Luiz Fernando Cruz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Paulo José Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raúl Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Caio Linhares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomé Pombal was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Işıkalp Nizam hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute, PiorTimeFc's Marcel Cavalcante dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Caio Linhares to make the kick off. After having played for 61 minutes, Conrado Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PiorTimeFc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrado Romero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. PiorTimeFc's Tomé Pombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caio Linhares in the 64th minute of play. The supporters of PiorTimeFc booed when Escudo da Fé was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luizinho Braga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute Raúl Dantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo José Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, Işıkalp Nizam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caio Linhares received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tomé Pombal came out and tried to block the shot, but Caio Linhares slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 82nd minute. Reynaldo Abreu struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Tomé Pombal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escudo da Fé. During the 88th minute of the match Raúl Dantas completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Raúl Dantas a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 88th match minute, PiorTimeFc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raúl Dantas to maneuver through the defense.
