Giovani Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Carlos Valle in the 5th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, TECORY's goalkeeper Giovani Moraes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgar Leão. TECORY's supporters rose to their feet, but Donatello Matos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remo Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Remo Fonseca came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by TECORY's Donatello Matos. But to his dismay, Donatello Matos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Cauan Lago's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remo Fonseca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Giovani Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emerson Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Donatello Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 36 minutes into the match, Linda's goal looked a bit too open when Cauan Lago came free, but Remo Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cauan Lago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remo Fonseca having to interfere. Donatello Matos scored 0-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Remo Fonseca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Tomás Ferraz fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Linda's protests and gave Tomás Ferraz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of TECORY booed when Linda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Ferraz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donatello Matos made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Emerson Rodrigues had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giovani Moraes. TECORY's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emerson Rodrigues was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 57th minute, TECORY's Cauan Lago ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Remo Fonseca. Remo Fonseca yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. When Donatello Matos came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the TECORY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donatello Matos couldn't finish the play. 62 minutes into the match, Linda's goalkeeper Remo Fonseca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donatello Matos. Remo Fonseca made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Luís Paulo Trigo sent off a good shot on target. In the 70th match minute, Linda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Leão to maneuver through the defense. Remo Fonseca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donatello Matos's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Remo Fonseca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Paulo Trigo went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Remo Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donatello Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Giovani Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Ferraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the match, TECORY's goal looked a bit too open when João Carlos Valle came free, but Giovani Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donatello Matos in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remo Fonseca saved Linda from getting behind.
