Gil Donato didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wiliam Dantas came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Brahmeiro FC's Cesinha Munhoz. But to his dismay, Cesinha Munhoz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 8th minute, Cesinha Munhoz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 12th minute, Abelardo Sá ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Durval Brodel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brahmeiro FC's goalkeeper Durval Brodel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Valdomiro Paraense sped through Brahmeiro FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Durval Brodel. Brahmeiro FC's Durval Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Sá in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Valdomiro Paraense made a precise shot to the right of Durval Brodel. Brahmeiro FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After a rather tough play, Brahmeiro FC's Carlos Augusto Carneiro got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute, Abelardo Sá got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silas Tinoco hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Centauro's Wiliam Dantas got control of the ball when Cesinha Munhoz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abelardo Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Centauro's Valdomiro Paraense got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abelardo Sá to strike the kick off in the second half. Caco Domingues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute, José Carlos Donatello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cesinha Munhoz scored 2-3 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wiliam Dantas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Abelardo Sá came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Centauro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abelardo Sá couldn't finish the play. 68 minutes into the match, Brahmeiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valdomiro Paraense came free, but Durval Brodel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Caco Domingues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Augusto Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiliam Dantas having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Cesinha Munhoz notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Centauro's Wiliam Dantas. Wiliam Dantas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 87 minutes into the match, Centauro's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Augusto Carneiro came free, but Wiliam Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Pedro Paulo Paranaense made a precise shot to the right of Wiliam Dantas. Centauro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. Centauro's Caco Domingues got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Brahmeiro FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Centauro had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
