Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eurico Veiga took the kick off in the first half of the match. 2 minutes into the game, Marcelinho Pombal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ibicui SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bambuhy AD the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ibicui SC's Marcelinho Pombal got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Cássio Souto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelinho Pombal went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 7 minutes, Wilton Fantini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ibicui SC and the Bambuhy AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 7 played minutes Ibicui SC got a freekick which was hit by Wilton Fantini. Eurico Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lauro Martins having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Ibicui SC's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Dante came free, but Lauro Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnaldo de Amaral hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Ibicui SC's Lauro Martins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eurico Veiga in the 14th minute of play. Dário Santos hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eurico Veiga in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lauro Martins saved Ibicui SC from getting behind. In the 25th minute, Marcelinho Pombal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Marcelinho Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hílton Borges hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. When Ibicui SC's Wilton Fantini in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bambuhy AD's goalie prevented a goal. 34 minutes into the game, Wilton Fantini recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cássio Souto. Wilton Fantini showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Cássio Souto made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Marcelinho Pombal sent off a good shot on target. Cássio Souto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilton Fantini in the 40th minute of the match. Ibicui SC's Marcelinho Pombal got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilton Fantini to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Bambuhy AD's Frank Dante got a free kick in the 54th minute. Marcelinho Pombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio Souto having to interfere. Arnaldo de Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcelinho da Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Cássio Souto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelinho Pombal, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 67 minutes into the match, Bambuhy AD's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelinho Pombal came free, but Cássio Souto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Marcelinho Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75thth minute of the game Eurico Veiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ibicui SC's Lauro Martins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arnaldo de Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Cássio Souto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelinho Pombal in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cássio Souto saved Bambuhy AD from getting behind. Marcelinho Pombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Cássio Souto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hílton Borges was shown his second yellow card after 96 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 97th match minute, Bambuhy AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hílton Borges to maneuver through the defense. Ibicui SC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
