Tomé Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Zé Roberto da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pirabibu's Zé Roberto da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Gaspar in the 45th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vicente Gaspar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carrancas SC's Paulo Renato da Silva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Carrancas SC from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donato Ramos during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zé Berger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Roberto da Silveira having to interfere. Zé Berger charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomé Perez in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Roberto da Silveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carrancas SC's Vicente Gaspar got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Tomé Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87thth minute of the game Vicente Gaspar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pirabibu's Zé Roberto da Silveira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Carrancas SC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pirabibu had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
