Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edgard Simões kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Corinthians booed when Italia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Melo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 4 minutes of play, Corinthians's Dalmo Mineiro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Renatinho Vander was left in no man's land by his defense there! Enéas da Mata was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 8 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of Corinthians:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Italia FC:s goal. After 13 played minutes Italia FC got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Melo. Vicente Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Simões in the 19th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Dalmo Mineiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corinthians's supporters rose to their feet, but Dalmo Mineiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renatinho Vander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute of the match, Edgard Simões tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vicente Soeiro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Vicente Soeiro was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Gilberto de Amaral capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gilberto de Amaral really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Renatinho Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmo Mineiro in the 31st minute of play. After 33 minutes of play, Italia FC's Edgard Simões made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vicente Soeiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Renatinho Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmo Mineiro in the 36th minute of play. Edgard Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Soeiro having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Tony Galvão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vicente Soeiro. Corinthians's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tony Galvão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. After 43 played minutes Corinthians got a freekick which was hit by Dalmo Mineiro. Corinthians's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Edgard Simões scored to the left of an out of position Vicente Soeiro, making the score, 6-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dalmo Mineiro made a kick off. A collision led to Italia FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. João Pedro Borges hit a great ball. Silvério Custódio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vicente Soeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Simões in the 55th minute of play. With a little luck, Italia FC's Renatinho Vander got control of the ball when Dalmo Mineiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Corinthians booed when Italia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Melo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 60 played minutes Italia FC got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto de Amaral. The audience was convinced that Edgard Simões's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vicente Soeiro was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Vicente Soeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Renatinho Vander made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Dudu Loyola sent off a good shot on target. Dudu Loyola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Renatinho Vander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Edgard Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgard Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Soeiro having to interfere. Gilberto de Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute, Tony Galvão made a precise shot to the right of Vicente Soeiro. Corinthians's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. After 87th play minutes Edgard Simões shot 8-1, a short shot which went by Vicente Soeiro and just under the crossbar into goal. Dudu Loyola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vicente Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Simões in the 95th minute of the match. Italia FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Corinthians for a fine match.
