Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marquinhos Oliveira in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Júnior Botelho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Shutetsu Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tapiru the free kick. The supporters of Tapiru booed when Shutetsu Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emerson Mandrak didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Shutetsu Futebol Clube's Humberto Mota got control of the ball when Luiz Prado tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 36th minute, Válbson Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olívio Donato in the 62nd minute of play forced Shutetsu Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Humberto Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marquinhos Oliveira struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Júnior Botelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shutetsu Futebol Clube. 69 minutes into the match, Tapiru's goalkeeper Júnior Botelho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elari Elts. 74 minutes into the game, Válbson Travassos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marquinhos Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júnior Botelho having to interfere. The Tapiru fans cheered their team off the field, for while Shutetsu Futebol Clube had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
