Spectators: 7199 (Terracing: 5401, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Oséias Zanette took the kick off in the first half of the match. Arnaldo Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christiano Duarte in the 5th minute of play forced Mjölnir FBPA's goalkeeper Almir Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Almir Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano Duarte in the 8th minute of play. Mjölnir FBPA's Almir Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiano Duarte in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Marrinhos's Oséias Zanette nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Almir Simões made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A collision led to Marrinhos getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Mané Simões hit a great ball. After 16 played minutes Mjölnir FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Guilherme Cosme. Marrinhos's Christiano Duarte got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Almir Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oséias Zanette, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Faustão Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, one of Marrinhos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Marrinhos. Bernardinho Maia came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Mjölnir FBPA's Chicão Pinheiro. But to his dismay, Chicão Pinheiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elivélton Vaz during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Marrinhos's Elivélton Vaz got a free kick in the 31st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mjölnir FBPA's zone, Oséias Zanette stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Almir Simões came out of the goal and Oséias Zanette tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oséias Zanette's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Almir Simões read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Oséias Zanette blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Almir Simões having to make a save. Marrinhos's Christiano Duarte got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute Christiano Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Almir Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Mjölnir FBPA's Almir Simões got control of the ball when Christiano Duarte tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ulisses Terra's late challenge caught a Mjölnir FBPA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulisses Terra helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th match minute, Marrinhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulisses Terra to maneuver through the defense. Mjölnir FBPA's Jaime Pimenta got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 72 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Godoi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marrinhos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mjölnir FBPA the free kick. In the 72nd minute, Arnaldo Godoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chicão Pinheiro, 73 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 74 minutes into the game, Vitório Mesquita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mjölnir FBPA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marrinhos the free kick. With a little luck, Mjölnir FBPA's Almir Simões got control of the ball when Christiano Duarte tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 82 minutes of play Marrinhos's Arnaldo Godoi was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Jaime Pimenta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christiano Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the match, Marrinhos's Maurinho Penha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Almir Simões narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oséias Zanette charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oséias Zanette the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Marrinhos getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Oséias Zanette hit a great ball. Mjölnir FBPA's Jaime Pimenta managed to work through Marrinhos's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Jaime Pimenta dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. If Mané Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Marrinhos had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
