The tension between the Amapá Sport Club and the Nictheroi players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Amapá Sport Club's Frédson Sena got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Henrique Carioca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Prestes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Narciso Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henrique Carioca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cesinha Tavares went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Henrique Carioca was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adrianinho Veloso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 42 minute of play. Narciso Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Henrique Carioca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sabino Vasconcelos was the one to do the kick off. If Adrianinho Veloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Narciso Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amapá Sport Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Narciso Maia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrique Carioca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 56 played minutes Nictheroi got a freekick which was hit by Michel Tavares. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Maia in the 57th minute of play forced Nictheroi's goalkeeper Henrique Carioca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrique Carioca was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nictheroi's Henrique Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Maia in the 97th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Amapá Sport Club had played much better football throughout.
