Vlado Karabeg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Cícero Gonçalves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Carlos Fernandez in the 13th minute. After a rather tough play, SÓ FAVELA F.C.'s Fabrício Paiva got a free kick in the 16th minute. When Felipe Cerezo came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Itaguira SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Cerezo couldn't finish the play. João Adolfo Quadros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Rony Pires fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itaguira SC's protests and gave Rony Pires a yellow card for diving instead. Rony Pires kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd match minute, Itaguira SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Cerezo to maneuver through the defense. Zé Carlos Fernandez succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 24th playminute. 31 minutes into the game, Felipe Cerezo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Aleandro Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vlado Karabeg having to interfere. The wind increased when Aleandro Silva made the kick off in the second half. Itaguira SC's Cícero Gonçalves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Lederer in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleandro Silva in the 60th minute of play forced SÓ FAVELA F.C.'s goalkeeper Vlado Karabeg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cícero Gonçalves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Adolfo Quadros in the 67th minute of the match. The SÓ FAVELA F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when SÓ FAVELA F.C.'s João Adolfo Quadros looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Aleandro Silva took a quick shot and it went in 3-4 without a chance for Vlado Karabeg to make any attempt to save it. Danilo Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Cícero Gonçalves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 82 minutes of play, SÓ FAVELA F.C.'s João Adolfo Quadros made it 4-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cícero Gonçalves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aleandro Silva scored 4-5 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vlado Karabeg , who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. SÓ FAVELA F.C.'s Herbert Lederer got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 96 minutes, João Adolfo Quadros made it 5-5 with a short kick to the right side. Itaguira SC's Cícero Gonçalves tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. SÓ FAVELA F.C. were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
