Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Itaguira SC's Aleandro Silva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dedê Catarinense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aleandro Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dedê Catarinense having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aleandro Silva to make the kick off. If Felipe Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Felipe Cerezo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cícero Gonçalves was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Luís Paulo de Almeida. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Tasso in the 80th minute of play forced Itaguira SC's goalkeeper Cícero Gonçalves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dedê Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleandro Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th match minute, Canafistula was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Castro to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Canafistula's goalkeeper Dedê Catarinense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Itaguira SC's Cícero Gonçalves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Itaguira SC from getting a goal against them. Cícero Gonçalves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gonçalo Magalhães in the 95th minute. With an all-out effort, Canafistula's Cícero Gonçalves threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gil Tasso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
