Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ademir Medeiros kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Felippe Nogueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulysses Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademir Medeiros in the 7th minute of play. The supporters of Jaguatei EC booed when Manchester United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Lago didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Ademir Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaguatei EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ademir Medeiros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulysses Chaves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the game, Baltazar Perez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ulysses Chaves. Baltazar Perez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Jaime Barreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulysses Chaves having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Valdomiro Varela came free, but Ulysses Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Geovânio Tasso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaime Barreto during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ulysses Chaves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ademir Medeiros in the 34th minute of the match. Ulysses Chaves made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Valdomiro Varela sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Manchester United getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Valentin Rameriz hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aloísio Chaves during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ulysses Chaves made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Baltazar Perez sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovânio Tasso in the 43rd minute of play forced Jaguatei EC's goalkeeper Fabrício Paraibano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manchester United were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after Jaguatei EC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Geovânio Tasso took the corner. The corner led to Manchester United's Anselmo Lago getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Geovânio Tasso to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Jaguatei EC's Baltazar Perez got a free kick in the 54th minute. Fabrício Paraibano was a little too slow when Geovânio Tasso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 1-1. Baltazar Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Ulysses Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd match minute, Jaguatei EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Barreto to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Valdomiro Varela came free, but Ulysses Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulysses Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ademir Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Lenílson Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrício Paraibano having to interfere. Jaime Barreto took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulysses Chaves. Ulysses Chaves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Ademir Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Ulysses Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Manchester United's Geovânio Tasso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. After 82 played minutes Manchester United got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Rameriz. In the 84th minute of the match Felippe Nogueira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ulysses Chaves skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 91 minutes, Anselmo Lago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Lago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Geovânio Tasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Manchester United's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
